Trisulam Hill is a small hillock located near meenambakkam airport in Chennai. Trisulam Hills is a good place for relaxing your weekend and an ideal getaway from the hustle, bustle and madness of the city, that too available within the city limit.

• Murugan Temple and the scenery from this temple spot are awesome.  Steps will be available to climb this temple from the other side of the hill.
• Arial view of trains plying via Trisulam to tambaram is worth watching.
• Kids can play and enjoy on top of the hill.

How to Reach

Train Route – Beach to Tambaram trains will ply via Trisulam; get down @ Trisulam station. This hill is situated just 2 kilometers from Trisulam station.  Auto rickshaw is the only transport available here to reach this hill.

Bus Route – All Tambaram bus will ply via Trisulam; get down @ Trisulam bus stop. Auto rickshaw is the only transport available here to reach this hill.

By Road – Road will be available to reach the top of the hill, road is little bad but manageable to reach. By Car/two Wheeler any one can easily reach this Hillock.

Reach Trisulam (airport) bus stop, after crossing Trisulam bus stop take left, cross the railway level cross, take right and go straight, then take left and go straight, find a water tank on the left side, from here road will diverted in to V shape, take the right road and you can find the local panchayat office, take the road adjacent to that office, that road will go to the Hillock.

• Trisulam Shiva Temple – Trisulam (1600 yrs old temple), situated around 1/2 km.

Useful Tip

• Best time to visit this hill is before 5.30 PM, because lights are not available on the road.
• Roads are small and narrow, drive carefully.  4 or 5 bends available to reach the top of the hill, take extreme care while driving both, uphill and downhill. Cars, bikes and scooters will cross you.
• If you are driving over your own vehicle, make sure you have enough petrol/diesel in your vehicle. There aren’t any petrol bunks available in this area.  Petrol bunk will be available near the airport.
• No shops available on the top of the hill, plan accordingly.
